SALLY Roast Meat Rice
SALLY Roast Meat Rice was famous at Old Seletar Market for many many years. They have shifted to Cactus Road after the market got demolished in year 2005. We have been searching for this stall but we are not sure where do they go. A makan search host in Channel 8 and we get to know they have moved to Cactus Road.

Penang 2009
Itinerary
Day 1: Singapore - Penang
Day 2: Penang
Day 3: Penang - Singapore
Expenses
Air-ticket: S$34/- x 3 paxs = S$102/- + S$18 (Credit Card Facilitation Fees) = S$120/-
Accomodation: RM270 convert to Singapore dollars = S$96/-
Food & Miscelleanous: S$180/-
I have been wanted to visit Penang since when I am in Secondary School. My dream comes true and I am flying instead of bike touring to Penang.
We bought jetstar air-ticket during Aug 2009 when they are having promotion and return air-ticket is only S$34/- per pax which is very cheap. We wanted to give a surprise to our eldest son when he reach Singapore Airport as he like to sit aeroplane. He was so surprised when we reach Airport.
We have reached Penang International Airport at around 9am. We proceed to Teksi Counter to buy Taxi ticket from Airport to Kek Lok Si Temple and cost us RM42.00 for the fare. The pricing signboard is for reference as different rates going to different places in Penang.
Kek Lok Si Temple is located at Air Itam area and taxi driver drove us there. As you can see how busy in the morning for both sides of shophouses.
We have reached Kek Lok Si Temple and that is not the end of it. We must walk into the long walkway of souvenior shops before reaching the Temple.

It is better to buy the Inclined Lift ticket to go up to the top to view the big Guangyin. The opening ceremony of the Guangyin is on 6-Dec-2009.
Bus-stop is stationed outside Pusat Kek & Roti SIN KA OON at Jalan Pasar 11500 Air Itam. We have asked around the chinese over there and Bus 201 & 203 can bring us to Sunway Hotel.
In Singapore, punch hole your bus ticket has been faced off about 20 years or more. You are able to see this in Penang. We have spent RM5.00 for 2 adults and 1 child for the bus ride.
The bus ride was about 30 mins and we have alighted at the bus-stop station opposite Penang Times Square. We took another 5 mins to walk into Sunway Hotel.
The room is reasonably clean and tidy.

Campbell St. Mall is located at Jalan Penang and it has wet market in there and alot of good food too.
The exchange rates in money changer over there is also quite good. Its about S$1 = RM2.41.
We took trishaw from Jalan Penang back to our hotel and uncle charge us RM6.00.
There are 12 special products which you must buy in Penang. Its Tau Sar Pneah, Rojak Paste, Heko, Laksa Paste, Kueh Bahlu, Belacan, Nyonya Beads Shoe and etc.
Cheong Kim Chuan is one of the Penang Products shop located at Lorong Selamat. You can get Tau Sar Pneah, Rojak Paste, Heko, Laska Paste, Belacan, Nutmeg oilment and etc. The price is quite reasonable.
The 1st Times Square is located at Kuala Lumpur and the 2nd new Times Square is located in Penang. At the moment they have restaurants and all merchandise shop is not open yet. Money Changer were also found in there and luckily we got the chance to exchange.
The cars and motors number plate are alphabet with 'P'.
One of our friend will be staying in this Tune Hotel.
